To transform 100 villages in 3 mandals, viz. Yellamanchilli, Atchyutapuram and Rambilli of Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh into model villages in such a way that all able bodied persons are gainfully employed, that substantive improvements in the state of literacy, health and economic sustenance take place and that local leadership and facilitation is fully developed.

2005 - 2006 BCT Annual Report

7,500 children in 150 schools (135 Primary and 15 Upper Primary) completed their first year of education under the "Innovative and Experimental Schools Program" sponsored and funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
